What is The Envirothon?

The Envirothon is an environmental-themed high school hackathon that will enable anyone to have a jump start at their technology and STEM career. No coding experience is required to be able to participate in our hackathon. In our 72 hour hackathon, we will equip you with everything you need to participate in our hackathon. Regardless of your past hackathon experience, we and our mentors are here to make your ideas a reality. We can’t wait to see the exciting new solutions you come up with since the possibilities are endless.

Duration: September 17th - 19th

Theme: Combatting Environmental Issues

Rules and Regulations:

• Participants MUST be within age group of 13-25

• Participants can apply as a team or as individuals but the maximum number of members per team is 4

• International participants allowed

Prizes

1.1st Place - $300 + Jetbrains 3 free annual Personal subscriptions; winners will be able to get an IDE of their choice ($249 each)

2.2nd Place - $200 + Egghead - 4 free codes ($250 each)

3.3rd Place - $100 + Egghead - 4 free codes ($250 each)

4.Best Research paper - $75 +  Egghead - 2 free codes ($250 each)

5.Most Innovative - $50 

6.Best Presentation - $25 

7.Fundraising raffle -$25 

8.Best Web App with Qoom challenge - Winners get featured of Qoom Project Gallery and 1-year Pro Package plan. (Teams must use the Qoom platform to be eligible for this prize.)  $140 value  

9. Wolfram Award for top 10 teams. This award is for a year of Wolfram|One Personal Edition plus a one-year subscription to Wolfram|Alpha Pro.  (worth $375 for each team member)

10. Imagilabs - Imagicharm ($95 value) Every person who attends the imagicharm workshop will be eligible to receive this prize.
